Becoming the Revolution 2: Chest and Shoulder Hooping


In this workshop we will continue to deepen seamless control with dynamic shoulder hooping, and explore effortless single shoulder hooping and duck-outs. For this more advanced class, we will play with progressive and demanding concepts such as continuous sweeps, stabilized single-shoulder hooping, continuous shoulder duck-outs, and shoulder-to-shoulder passes. As the class progresses, we will embrace the challenge of incorporating tech flow (breaks, paddles, duck-outs etc.) into the concept of a shoulder hooping in a slow wobbling plane. This workshop is geared towards the intermediate or advanced hooper (or the ambitious beginner who took part 1).

Please bring your regular hoop and a larger one. Larger hoops often go a long way in helping to fully connect with the concepts and apply them to a smaller one.
